Two super powers in United First Financial came together this past weekend to put on a training for more than 600 UFirst Agents. Tom and Sue Keener and Steve and Sarah Smith hosted a Super Saturday training in Springfield, VA. Among the presenters were , Brooke Barnett, Todd Avery, Gene Harris, Jim Doolin, Heidi Keener and Jim Hobbs. We had laughs, crys and a whole lot of information. After the event we had the pleasure of cruising down the Potomac eating fresh Maryland Blue Crabs and beverages of choice. After an hour cruise we watched a spectacular fireworks show on the water and headed back to the dock. Special thanks to everyone who made it possible.

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008Today was a day to go down in the record books. Over 100 of the top leaders in United First Financial joined on one course to play golf and enjoy the beautiful sites of St. Ives Country Club. This invitation only event was offered to UFirst Agents who are Branch Manager and above. For those who do not golf, tennis was offered also.
The day began with a lunch in the club house which gave all of us a chance to take in Tom Keener’s, genuine, authentic, Payne Stewart out fit complete with knickers and argoyle socks. I came in a close second with a replica outfit. After the thrill of the outfits we all headed out on the course for a 1:30PM shotgun start. The winning four some, to be announced later, will get a nice award. In addition, the second place team will also recieve an award. Other awards will be presented for longest drive and closest to the pin.
Our team consisting of Kim Kline, Chip Robinson, Sheryl Andrade and myself shot a meere -2 for 18 holes. We don’t think it will be good enough to win anything but then again three of us are not golfers so our handicap is quite high.
It was a fun filled day with all of the owners of UFirst and biggest names in the business. The time spent and ideas thrown around on the course we priceless.
We ended the day with a Smith National Organization Inner Circle meeting and dinner. Compliments of Steve and Sarah Smith a select few enjoyed a fabulous meal and listened to a few great ideas and upcomming events and trainings. While I am not part of the inner circle I was specially invited and would like to thanks the Smiths for all they have given back.
