In testing I drove in my truck with the windows down, called someone from a baseball game and even made a call while vacuuming my carpet. I was a believer. After almost a year my Jawbone broke on me. I needed an instant replacement so I drove to the AT&T store to find out the Jawbone 2 had been released that day. At a steep price of $149.00 with tax I purchased the only color they had available, black.

The Jawbone 2 is about half the width of the original Jawbone and a slight bit shorter in length. They have completely re engineered the ear loop and ear piece fit. The ear loop has a stiched leather covering and is only optional. After a few days of experimenting I choose to loose the ear loop all together and just use the friction of the ear piece. One other noteworthy advancement about the Jawbone 2 is that you can get an 80% charge from just 30 minutes worth of charging. For me this meant I only needed one headset because I could charge it over a lunch and have plenty of juice for the rest of the day.

My callers have not seen any significant increase in clarity but in a smaller, more comfortable form I recommend the Jawbone 2 to anyone who spends any amount of time on their cellular phone.
